Transplant Strip Scars Using The Fue Method

Afue is very well suited for the transplantation of scars from previous strip hair transplants to make them less noticeable in everyday life. This type of repair work is now practiced regularly worldwide. Although the growth rate of grafts on scar tissue is lower than on normal scalp, even with a relatively low graft number excellent results can be achieved. If necessary, this process can easily be repeated. A fue is very well suited for such repetitions and nowadays strip scars are regularly corrected and made inconspicuous worldwide.

Flexibility: Location Of Graft Extraction:
The fue offers complete freedom in this respect: the follicular units can be easily removed from any imaginable Hair Transplant In Lahore -bearing place.

For example, in patients who have many scars due to multiple previous strip, and who therefore no longer have any donor follicles in their usual locations, even hair from behind the ear or any other body site (body graft) can be easily removed.

Many striped hair transplants have been performed on this patient in the past. With the fue technique it was now possible to remove many more hair follicles (eg directly behind the ear, close to the neck). Repair work was done with the won hair follicles.

An fue is completely flexible with regard to the location of the graft extraction. Each small red dot on the image is the location of a targeted punctiform extraction of a follicular unit. In this example, the image was taken immediately after removal. Due to the respective small blood droplets, the small outlets look larger than they actually are.

Maximum Total Number Of Donor-Transplantable Grafts:
A fue offers great valences in this regard. It can be transplanted from a cosmetically acceptable point of view, up to about 1/3 of the donor hair, the removal is evenly distributed. In addition, there are possible supplies of suitable body grafts (eg, breast hair), which offer additional design options.

One can therefore say that with the fue method, the maximum number of transplantable grafts is usually much higher than with the strip method. Of course, at this point, no exact numbers can be mentioned, as much depends on the individual situation of the patient (size of the donor area, hair density, presence of suitable body grafts, etc.).
